Although it's been said that there's no such thing as bad press, artists sometimes takes things too far with the media and end up losing out on money and opportunities. Hip-HopWired takes a look at a handful of rappers who have suffered a loss of this sort after talking a little too much to the media.
There's something really attractive about speaking your mind, especially with the outspoken artists we have today. While we as fans enjoy the juicy tidbits of information, it doesn't always bode well for the other side. In fact, these media snafus can end up costing artists a lot of money and exposure in a fickle business where any slip-up stays with you forever.
